Parking signage

There are many ways to signal that a parking space is an accessible space. Markings on the ground, in bright yellow, or reflective white, with a white, yellow or blue "wheelchair symbol" (also known as ISA). Most places also require a sign to be put on a pole. It only makes sense, it's too easy to miss something on the ground. There are many interesting signs, and I just discovered one I hadn't heard of before.

The sign is shown on The Digital Awakening. The author says:

It was a knocked-down sign for an accessible parking lot with text in three languages: Malay, English and Chinese. The English text read: "You have taken my car park. Please take along my disability."

One could read it as " you've taken my parking space, do you want my disability?"

People aren't paying attention to that sign, anymore than they are paying attention to the ISA, or the markings on the ground. What will they pay attention to?

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said: "If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.
