Webmaster's Notes: We note that the car is parked right in front of the kerb cut, in effect making it impossible for any wheelchair users to go from the sidewalk to the street. This is partly the driver's fault, but also bad design from the Gisborne City Council.

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.

By that i mean they have few issues pushing around large food carts.
Oh.. That's why all of your past animals mysteriously run away. #caughtya and jazzy is an angel. @BDB93

This believe it or not is actually one of the better parks. I have had numerous meetings/phone calls/bitch sessions to the Council about their mobility parking. Most of the parks are narrow ones that have the kerb cut right in the middle of the park so once you park in your allocated spot you are unable to use the kerb cut. A group of us have just managed to get GDC to agree to adopt a Disability Policy ( we would prefer it to be called Inclusive Policy but GDC is sticking to Disability Policy) which we will be writing and in full affect by July 2007. Mobility parking is high on our list to be fixed!
