Poster's Note: It's pretty obvious that this driver is unaware of why there are hashmarks.. actually, I think they just don't care as I see it everyday.
Webmaster's Note: While it is technically illegal to park on the striped access aisle, it is possible that the driver had to park that way in order to leave themselves enough space to get out. It's hard to tell for sure from the photo, but it looks like the parking space may be too narrow to allow a bigger truck such as this one to park within the space and still allow a wheelchair to get out. The fact that the truck is parked at an angle like that is an indication of such. I know I certainly have had to park that way in order to be able to get in and out of the car a few times. I'm leaving the photo on, but with a caveat that I'm not convinced there's obvious problem.

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.
