Poster's note: Car did not seem to have any badge or sticker permitting parking in (or in front of) parking spaces reserved for people with a disability. Sorry for the poor quality photo, taken on a cameraphone. The driver was a big guy, and still in his car when I took the photo - from a distance. Ok, so he's not actually parked in a disability parking space - but he's fully blocking one, and making it impossible to use the second by restricting it - there's a trolley park on the other side of the space. These are the only two disability parking spaces in front of Tesco, Ballinasloe. I think this driver was waiting for someone, judging by the way he was drumming his fingers on the dashboard. He must have been waiting for quite some time, as his engine was switched off. Isn't life just tough, sometimes?

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.
