Plenty of parking spaces but this inconsiderate driver (with a valid permit) parked the closest to JC Penney by illegally parking in the striped no parking area!

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said:
"If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.

I may not buy more in one go, but I guarantee you I spend as much, if not more, than the average punter does in a week.

By that i mean they have few issues pushing around large food carts.

If I had a valid permit and saw that all the handicapped spaces were taken by non-permitted parkers, I would use the striped area as well. Not nearly as offensive as some fatassed lady who only has the permit due to her largeness getting to use these spaces, don't ya think?
No, I don't think. Those striped areas are there so that people using wheelchairs can have the space necessary to get to their car and deploy a ramp. If you park in the hashed area, then you are purposely blocking a potential wheelchair user from being able to get into their car (or out of it, if they leave, and someone new pulls in next to you while you're still there). I have been unable to get to my car because another valid permit-holder parked too close to my car. I had to go and find a stranger and ask him to back my car out of the space for me so that I could get in. NOT fun. The other permit holder should have known better.
How lame to have a site that "busts" people in parking in a disability space. So what if you can't get the space closest to the entrance? If your in a wheel chair the problem is not that big and if your on foot you probably have someone to drive (a nurse or social worker of some sort) which can drop you of at the entrance.
And what is with the toilets for disabled? Is it illegal for a disabled person to wait in line to get a free toilet? If it is only because of the space needed for a wheelchair then fine, but let ordinary people use the toilet also without giving them evil stares.
You should be thankful that you are living in a country that makes disabled-friendly warehouses, apartments, parking lots, toilets etc. but instead you get gready and start policing people who use "your" spots and places. Grow up! Maybe people who aren't handicapped should make a site busting disabled persons parking outside the assigned parking lots? Would be just as lame.
Maybe it is just because people are so fat that they need to open the door completely to get out. That is not a disease, that is eating too much and if you stopped stuffing you head you wouldn't need a special parking lot!
