Submitting information

The overriding principles of Caughtya.org are fairness, integrity, openness, responsibility and a commitment to accuracy and truth.

As a submitter of content you must

Take care not to submit inaccurate, misleading or distorted information;
Ensure photographs are a true representation of events;

You must not

Digitally distort or manipulate photographs with the intention to deceive;
harrass, stalk, or undertake ongoing surveillance of parking areas to get your photographs.

Remember

This is an awareness-raising campaign - it is NOT a witch-hunt!
In trying to protect the rights of people with disabilities we do NOT intend to infringe upon the rights of others.

What information do we want?

Please remember to note the following details clearly:

Vehicle license plate
Vehicle make (e.g. Ford, Subaru, Honda, etc...)
Vehicle model (e.g. Mustang, Legacy, Civic, etc...)
Vehicle color
Date and time of infraction
Location of infraction (including country, state/province/area, town, and specific area within the town.
A PHOTO.

I do think that increased fines would make a big difference. However, the fines are really only applicable on "public" property. Anything in a store carpark, or university, it's all deemed private property and traffic warden are not allowed to ticket there... *that* would be an important change to allow.
