It is a slow start, yet it is a good start. The first mention (that we know of) about our site on another site. Smiffy introduces caughtya.org and says that "this blogger rather likes the idea". Thanks Smiffy. We also like the idea!

Tracking over time

Not that long ago, I complained to a local supermarket manager that her staff did not monitor accessible parking spaces on store's parking lot. Her reaction was, unsurprisingly, less than enthusiastic. She eventually made a few valid points (discussed on another day and different blog entry), though at first she said:

There doesn't seem to be anyone we talk to that has a mobility impairment that hasn't at one point or another, encountered inconsiderate people parked illegally. People get together, and talk about how difficult it is. But they don't act. They don't complain to shop owners, asking them to monitor their lot. [...]

The taxi company was contacted and their general manager is going to look into it. He said: "If you have any additional information on the date and time of this incident I would welcome the receipt of that so we can identify the driver concerned at the time and address the matter with them directly.
